My colleague, Dipl. Inform. (FH) Mark Langguth, describes in a current contribution of the magazine E-HELTH-COM, why the German patient file must fail according to the current specification:

The authorization concept of the electronic patient file (ePA) is currently under intense discussion. But what exactly should or could the “fine-grained rights management”, which is planned for the ePA 2.0 from 2022, look like? And can the ePA 2.0 meet the legal requirements?
