BfG Jens Spahn zum Krankenhauszukunftsgesetz

With an investment program, German Health Minister Jens Spahn is providing hospitals with a digital update. The federal government will provide 3 billion Euro so that hospitals can invest in modern emergency capacities, digitalization and their IT security.

The federal states are to raise further investment funds of 1.3 billion Euro. The law will implement the “Hospitals of the Future Program” adopted by the coalition government on June 3, 2020. On September 10, Spahn presented the draft bill at the first reading in the German parliament.
